Local attractions

March has a high street with charity shops and cafés. This increasingly shopper-friendly town has lovely places to dine, in and outside of the town centre.

There is a nightclub, open until late on Saturdays, together with places to play pool and watch sports dotted around the town too.

The friendly market town has the River Nene flowing throughout the centre, where people can walk along and enjoy the scenic views, as well as a few play parks for those travelling with children.

Local transport

March has its own train station (with parking) with direct links to London, Peterborough, Cambridge and more.

It is located just 0.8 miles from the hotel, so within 10 minutes’ walk.

There are also buses to Cambridge, Peterborough, Norfolk and more.

Parking

There is a free 24-hour car park located next to the pub, down Darthill Road, with limited spaces.

There is also roadside parking around the pub.

Directions

If travelling from the east, at the A47 roundabout at Guyhirn, take the exit A141 to March. At the Peas Hill roundabout, take the second exit onto the B1099/Wisbech Road. At the mini roundabout, continue straight on the B1099 leading onto Dartford Road. The Hippodrome is on the left-hand side.
