• Directions

  Walking from the train station – when exiting the station, continue straight, across Corporation Street and into High Street. Turn left and walk down High Street; the pub is situated on the left-hand side.

• Parking

  Pay-and-display parking is available for both long and short term. Free parking during 10pm–7am, with long stay from £3.30 for 8 hours.

• Local Transport

  Regular bus and train services to Bluewater shopping centre, as well as a direct high-speed train into London. North Kent coastal towns also serviced on the same rail route. Several local taxi services are also available.

• Local Attractions

  Start your journey by taking a step back in time and discover the myriad heritage attractions in Medway. Visit Rochester Castle with its great keep, the tallest in England and one of Kent’s best-kept secrets, the magnificent Rochester Cathedral, where more than 1,400 years of worship has taken place. Continue on to visit many of the buildings which featured in the works of Charles Dickens, who lived in Medway, and into the exciting indoor visitors’ complex called Dickens World at Chatham Maritime. Maritime, military heritage and history in Medway are fascinating. From the Historic Dockyard Chatham to the Royal Engineers Museum and Upnor Castle and Fort Amhurst, there is so much to discover about Medway’s past. Medway has a wide variety of leisure attractions to suit all ages. For the outdoor enthusiast, Buckmore Park and Diggerland are located within a short distance.
