Local attractions

Those with an interest in history can visit Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta; Stonehenge is a short drive or bus tour from the hotel.

There are also many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in the local area.

Visitors to the cathedral can also see the best-preserved copy of the Magna Carta (which celebrated its 800-year anniversary in 2015). Stonehenge is also a major attraction for visitors to the city – and only a short bus or car journey away.

Salisbury is also lucky to still have numerous independent shops, as well as various thriving markets which are held on the square – a two-minute walk from the hotel.

Local transport

Buses run frequently to Southampton, Bournemouth, Bath and the surrounding villages.

There are regular train services to London, Southampton, Basingstoke and the West Country.
