The Golden Acorn has 26 bedrooms, all of which are available as either king-size, doubles or twins.

Local attractions

The Fife region has much to welcome visitors. Golfers delight in the array of courses available. One of the most famous of them all, St Andrews, is only a 20-mile drive away.

For non-golfers, the beautiful scenery of the Fife area is one of its main attractions, as are some of Scotland’s best-kept beaches, the delightful East Neuk fishing villages and the historic Falkland Palace, former residence of Mary, Queen of Scots (only a 10-minute drive away).

Walkers and wildlife-lovers can explore the surrounding countryside and walk the Fife Coastal Path.

Great walks can also be found on the nearby Lomond Hills and at Loch Leven.

Local transport

On-site parking is available. Drivers need to input their vehicle registration on a console in the pub/hotel and collect a permit from reception.

Alternatively, pay-and-display parking is available in several nearby car parks. Your nearest car park is on North Street, opposite our hotel.
